John H. Mutchler

John H. Mutchler’s practice includes patent prosecution, intellectual property licensing, U.S. government contracting, copyright and trademark consulting as well as litigation. He formerly held executive and senior management positions with Northeast Utilities, ABB, and Combustion Engineering with responsibility for energy-related technology and research and development. He has more than 25 years experience in energy generation including nuclear power, fuel cells and fossil power; environment issues and energy conservation; electro-mechanical devices; manufacturing, welding and metal fabrication; research and development; and due diligence and portfolio management. He also holds patents for diagnostic and data acquisition systems.  John Mutchler has successfully represented an entrepreneur through the patent prosecution process and through subsequent licensing negotiations with in-house counsel in the United States and Germany.
